Department of Geography was started in year 2012-13 when teaching of Geography was started at UG level .
MA(Geography) was started in year 2023-24.
- A National Seminar on "Retrospect and prospect of Rural development in India: With special reference to Chhattisgarh" was organized in November 2014.
- Geography Council was Established on 15th of October 2024constituting mainly PG Student.
- The Department Organizes regular Excursion for student and for Socio-Economic Survey.
