National Service Scheme (NSS) unit functionsunder the Ministry of Youth Affair and Sports in the college. Presently DrMallika Sur , H.O.D. Pollitical Science Department, is the Program Officer. Various camps are beingorganised by NSS unit of College in the nearby villages. Regular activitieslike Nashamukti Abhiyan, Matdata Jagrukta Program (SVEEP), SanitationActivities, Human Right Awareness Program, HIV AIDS awareness program, Healthcheckup camps (Sickling) are beingconducted by the NSS unit in the College as well as nearby communities/villages.Various competitions like poster/slogan, Rangoli, speech etc. are beingorganised on these themes.
The NSS team of our college is activelyparticipating in plantation activity in the college campus as well as thenearby communities.
Jayanties ofeminent freedom fighters and leaders are also being celebrated.
